    Church of Saint Louis de l'Isle-aux-Coudres

    Constructed in 1885, this church houses two works by sculptor Francois Baillairge. One can also visit an original stone processional chapel. Admission is free and guests can visit year round.

    Roadside Crosses
    Visitors to Isle-aux-Coudres may notice a number of black crosses lining the roadside. These are religious heritage markers of past communities. Villagers who lived far away from the main church would erect these crosses and gather to worship.

    Built in 1951, this chapel showcases heritage murals. Regional artists conduct workshops and crafts at this location. Open during the summer from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

    Chapelle Sacre-Cœur a la Maison-Mere des Petites Franciscaines de Marie
    Renovated in 2003, the chapel retains its original design and features. Guests can view paintings, statues and the illuminated vault. Guided tours are available in July and August or by reservation.

    This chapel was constructed in 1915 and has a small bell tower. Mass is still celebrated every Thursday at 7:00 pm. During the summer season, visits are available by appointment.

    Benjamin Girard constructed this log chapel. Visitors can view artwork and the altar which is composed of red spruce. Chapel is open during the summer months and can be found by Lac La Galette, approximately 34.1km north, Route 381.
